New Stuff

I haven't blogged in so long! So sorry. I've been busy with school and everything. But I thought I'd update on some recent buys! The quality of the pictures aren't that amazing because I'm stuck here in my ugly dorm so it was hard to get good lighting, plus I didn't have my real camera so these were all taken with my camera phone, which is USUALLY amazing. Oh well. Enjoy!

Olive cargo pants from Forever 21. They look like the J Brand Houlihan Cargo pants!

Sweat pants from Theory. They're more like sweat shorts. I love the details on these pants, it's what makes them unique. The zippers and the fake fly make them look better than normal sweat pants. They're sooo comfortable, and I love how you can dress them up with heels and layered necklaces, or down with gladiators and a tank.

Gray denim bustier one-piece from motel. I plan on wearing it with a high waisted skirt and heels for when I go out. :)

Lavender shirt from BB Dakota. It has shoulder pads which I've yet to get used to. It's a little bit on the large size (I got a size small).

Sparkle skirt from Forever 21. I love this skirt, it fits so well. Once again you could dress it up with a lace bodysuit, or you could wear it with a crew neck and layered necklaces.

Cheap Monday tank. Best tank ever. You know you got a good piece of clothing when you have guys at a party complimenting you on it.

Fall 2010, Limited edition Chanel nail polish in Khaki Vert. I love this color. My friend bought it for me as a present. hanel nail polish is probably my favorite because it has the best consistency, lasts extremely long, and comes on super glossy.

And probably my most favorite thing, the HTC Droid Incredible. An amazing phone.

New Stuff :)

Guess who's been shopping?
I got alot of great stuff, very decent prices, and thought I'd share!

These jeans were such a great find... $10 from Macy's. Can't decide if the bleaching AND the studs are a bit much, but regardless I've worn them everyday since I got them and I love them.

From left to right: cotton tank, around $20, J.Crew; faux leather bandeau bra, $5, Macy's; lace tank, $14.99, Target

Blazer, $29.95, H&M; cotton shirt, $88, Nordstrom

Collarless waterfall tuxedo blazer, $29.95, H&M

Studded leather belt, $19, J. Crew; rhinestone studded suedette cuff bracelet, $6, Forever 21; necklace, $14, Target; double ring, $3, Forever 21; long ring, $6, Forever 21

Sandals, $32, Nine West

Alexander Wang knockoff, 799 SEK, modekungen.se
The bag took FOREVER to get here from Sweden, and... uh... shipping was $30. I know I'm crazy.

This shirt is the most beautiful yellow and it feels amazing because it is 100% silk. It was on sale too! Around $25 or so.

Dannijo Jewelry

I'm in my own jewelry heaven. Dannijo makes beautiful, eclectic, reasonably priced, hand-made jewelry. The brains behind this business are the humble Snyder sisters from Florida. They started to create their own designs at an early age, built up a small business in Florida, went to college, and then restarted in New York. The business has since grown into a favorite by many celebrities, and myself included. How did they know what my own jewelry would look like if I designed it? I'll never know. Here's a little bit of their gorgeous work:

Look for Less: J Brand Houlihan Cargo Pants

So I've seen these J Brand Cargos just about everywhere (online at least, and on celebrities). I mean I understand why though, because they're so perfect! Of course, J Brand wasn't the first to create the cargo pants or to make them trendy (the "military" style has been coming in and out for the past few years), but they did create a really beautifully crafted pair with a skinny leg, ankle zippers, and a perfect material. They've been seen on the likes of Khloe Kardashian (who I believe has worn them best), Miley Cyrus (ew), Rihanna, Rachel Bilson, Vanessa Hudgens, etc. etc. I saw them at the Barney's Co-op in DC and proceeded to have a tantrum of "But why do they have to be $230!??!?!?" to my unfortunate friend who accompanied me.

However, I have found a couple of look-a-likes of these pants, at more than reasonable prices.

Blank Denim Skinny Cargo Pants, $78, at several online stores but I've seen the best price at Bloomingdale's

Brynn Skinny Cargo Pant, $49.50, at Delia's

Christa, $70, Abercrombie and Fitch

Easy Money Jean Company Skinny Leg Cotton Cargo Pants, $125, Nordstrom

Fp Skinny Military Cargo, $98, Free People
